In order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, Albania has implemented new measures for passengers
travelling by water taxi.
water taxis operating for voyages longer than 30 minutes should, when feasible, conduct a health check
of all passengers to detect signs and symptoms of illness (for example, fever, cough, or breathing difficulties) before
they board. Should the passenger present COVID-19 symptoms, the operator should deny boarding.
